How Expression Blend add reference to external resource dictionary defined in third party library theme

Answers

  • Hello Jeeshenlee.

    To link to an item...

Project > Link To Existing Item > (Navigate to the external Resource Dictionary, select it and click ok.)

    Rebuild.

Just know that any changes you make in the linked, you are making in the original.

  • Hello Christine,

Thanks for this solution, which seems to work great if I have another XAML resource dictionary.

However, I would like to use a resource that is in a resource dictionary which is embedded in another DLL.

I couldn't use your solution for this. Do you know if there is a way?

    Thanks in advance.

    Antoine
