How to change the ribbon group header text colour (color)?

    Question

  • Can anyone explain how I can change the header text colour on a group within a ribbon please - searched everywhere but I can't find the solution!

  • To customize the RibbonGroup "Header", you can write your own Header Template e.g.

            <Style TargetType="ribbon:RibbonGroup">
                <Setter Property="HeaderTemplate">
                    <Setter.Value>
                        <DataTemplate>
                            <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=Header, RelativeSource={RelativeSource AncestorType=ribbon:RibbonGroup}}"
                                       Foreground="DarkBlue" Background="Transparent" FontWeight="Bold"/>
                        </DataTemplate>
                    </Setter.Value>
                </Setter>
            </Style>
    

    Above style when applied to your ribbongroup, will change the foreground of header text to dark blue and text will be shown in Bold.
