Hi Amol,
You could investigate if the VM Role fits your needs: http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/home/tour/virtual-machines
It has been done before, but this isn't a supported setup: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/dmitrim/archive/2011/02/23/sharepoint-foundation-2010-on-windows-azure.aspxBesides Windows Azure you could consider a hybrid solution in Office 365 (where you would just have your .NET code running in Windows Azure but use SharePoint 2010 in Office 365): http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/online-software.aspx

It was helpful.
But why we can not host sharepoint site directly on azure like .net application.
sharepoint is also build on Dotnet framework
where is the problem exactly?

Hi,
The Windows Azure roles are stateless and you need a statefull server in order to deploy sharepoint right?
