Share VM Image Across Accounts?

Question

Can you share a VM image across accounts or do I have to upload it to every account that wants to use it for a VM role?

You can put the VHD on a blob and use across subscriptions.

So I'm assuming that I would then change the value of href in <OsImage href="StableBuild.4.20.12.vhd" /> to point to the url of the VM in the blob?

I tried that and it said that the image does not exist, even though the url clearly does, as when I put it in a browser it begins downloading.

Hello,

I think Windows Azure cant share OS image across different subscriptions now, the OsImage href="<vhd_image_name>" only support current vhd name, try to post it on Azure feature requset site:
