New Homepage Feedback

I'm not a fan of the new homepage.

A couple of items that I don't like:

• The font is to large. Scanning the page feels like it takes longer even thought there is fewer text.
• I like seeing more extension for each category (New Edition, Most Popular, Most Active). Since items on the home page tend to get more downloads the items on the home page will tend to stay on the homepage. Offering a larger selection by default will help keep the homepage fresh.

I do like:

• The "populate searches" box
• The "My Gallery" link
• A few new icon

Thanks for the feedback. We are releasing an update to the homepage tomorrow that should address some of the font issues. We will be making more changes to this in the future though.

we are looking at a similar feature that will allow paging on the home page in the same was as done on codeplex.com. We'll also increase the number of items that are displayed.
