Hi,I
I am doing TFS - Project Server integration using feature pack. We have sharepoint server 2010 and project server 2010 in Oner server (say server A).
TFS in another server (say Server B).
I have installed integration feature pack in the Server A.
Gave admininistrative permissions as mentioned in http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg412642.aspx#assign.
I have followed the integration points as specified in http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg412642.aspx#configure and got following messages:
"..successfully registered PWA.."
"..successfully mapped team project Collection.."
"..uploaded field mappings to the team project collection.."one mapping plan to team project (team project if of Agile Template) using TfsAdmin ProjectServer /MapPlanToTeamProject /collection:<<tpcUrl >>/enterpriseproject:<<PlanName>> /teamproject:<<ProjectName>> /workitemtypes:”Bug,Issue,Task,Shared Steps,Test Case,User Story” ; I got following error:
“TF294028: specified argument is not valid : steps, Test"
Then I removed shared steps and Test cases from the work items list and gave TfsAdmin ProjectServer /MapPlanToTeamProject /collection:<<tpcUrl >>/enterpriseproject:<<PlanName>> /teamproject:<<ProjectName>> /workitemtypes:”Bug,Issue,Task”
Then I got the error:
“TF294028: The work item type 'Bug' could not be found in the following team p
roject:<< TeamProject>>. Check that you have specified the correct work item type
and that it exists in the team project.”Then I gave TfsAdmin ProjectServer /MapPlanToTeamProject /collection:<<tpcUrl >>/enterpriseproject:<<PlanName>> /teamproject:<<ProjectName>> /workitemtypes:”Issue”
Then I got the message: "successfully mapped enterprise project to team project"
When I opened the team project I got Project server tab for the work item Issue.and the publish section is available with follwing data.
'Submit to Project Server' and 'Enterprise Project ' is listing the enterprise project that I have Mapped. But in the status section, 'Linked to Project server is shown as No' and the Work items are not synchronized between the products.
Also I found that I am not getting the Administer Project Server integration permission in administer security section in TFS.
Please help me to resolve below. Thanks, Lovely

Hi
As I mentioned in the beginning, though I got a successfully mapped message on mapping enterprise project and Team Project. I am getting project server tab also. But issue created in TFS is not communicated to Project server. Either Failure or success should come in the 'Last submit status' field in project server tab for the work item. In my case its blank (Last submit Date is also blank).
Please help me to proceed in this. Its urgent.
Thanks, Lovely

Hi Lovely, from more recent posts you made I assume this is not a problem anymore. I apologize for not getting back sooner to you and I would definitely recommend that if you run into critical issues that are urgent that you please contact Microsoft support as they can provide support faster.
Thank you.

I need to integrate TFS 2010 with MS Project 2010. I have TFS with SP1 and MS Visual Studio with SP1. I also need Feature Pack for Visual Studio Team Foundation Server and Project Server Integration. My queistions are:
- where I can get this Feature Pack WITHOUT ultimate msdn subscription?
can you send me a copy, tassos_cui@126.com

If you upgrade to TFS 2012, the Project Server Integration is part of the product and you don't need the Ultimate MSDN subscription anymore. Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help.
