Install Power Pivot 2012 on computer with multiple user profiles

Question

We have a computer which separate users log into at various times to use for projects.

I can install http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=29074 (POWERPIVOT 2012 for EXCEL), for one user (and it works), however, other users cannot use it successfully.

I have also tried running a batch file that would replicate the registry keys to the other user profiles (which I can undo if a solution comes along.)

I would appreciate a solution from someone who has successfully completed this task, not just troubleshooting.

Hi birdtownboy,

Could you please supply detail information about your scenario, is there any error message for the other users? Actually using the newest features requires that you first uninstall the previous version, and then install the current version. The PowerPivot add-in to Excel cannot be upgraded using a Setup program. Furthermore, you cannot use an older and newer version of the add-in on the same computer.
