Hi there...
Is this problem from SQL 2008 not yet solved, and also a legacy in 2012?
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/sqlreportingservices/thread/b0c85133-c349-44fe-832b-7bf5d9ec94c7/Problem:
I have in my enviroment...
1 DBMS
1 SSAS
1 SSRS
1 DBMS for Sharepoint DBs and SSRS DBsAll of theese except the SSRS server have I upgraded from Eval. edition to SQL 2012 RTM Enterprise. The SSRS server have I upgraded to SQL 2012 Standard.
All of this working fine except when Im trying to access my reports on the SSRS server. Then I get this error:
"The feature: "The Database Engine instance you selected is not valid for this edition of Reporting Services. The Database Engine does not meet edition requirements for report data sources or the report server database. " is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services."
When I look at every server they all have same SQL version, 11.0.2100.60 Enterprise Evaluation Edition but according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SQL_Server_Management_Studio) that is the version for RTM so I guess everything is ok.
I tried to repair the SSRS but it didnt worked. What is the solution, delete the DBs and reinstall the SSRS?
I guess that an Eval. upgrade to RTM is supported.

I have now tried to uninstall the SSRS server and deleted the databases.
When I now install and configure SSRS 2012 Std from the RTM media and tries to place the db on my DBMS server I instead get this error:
"Using other edition of SQL for report data sources and/or the report server database is not supported in this edition of reporting services"
Is it not possible to place SSRS 2012 Std db's on DBMS 2012 Ent.?

Hmm...I actually found the problem.
The edition upgrade on the DBMS server holding the SSRS db's had failed. I haven't notice that. :(
After I did the edition upgrade again everything works fine.
