Hi All:
When you create a Custom list in SP by default creates a page with the Quick Launch to the left and a Web Part zone to the right (Quick Launch | Main Web Part zone). However, I'd like to add another web part zone to the right (Quick Launch | Main Web Part zone | Righ Web Part zone) but I don't know how to do that. Can someone help me with this problem?.
Thank you very much
Best regards

Hi
yes, when you create a new List, as you said a Custom list, you can check or don't if you like that the list will appear in quick launch zone
http://www.hosting.com/support/sharepoint-2010/add-or-remove-a-list-or-library-from-the-quick-launch
By default SHP main page contain quick launch.
You can use SHP Designer to customize your site
About how to hide Quick lacunh, check these posts
http://chrisstahl.wordpress.com/2010/03/15/hide-the-quick-launch-in-sharepoint-2010/

Using SHP Designer, you can create your own customized page,
In that page you can insert new web parts, and customize how that page will look like
For start, check this MS official doc

Hi Romeo:
Thanks for your answer but my problem is the following: to add another web part zone to the page that Sharepoint generates when you create a Custom list (or any other element).
Thank you very much

Hi
by default SHP generate for each list and library 3 forms
NewForm.aspx, EditForm.aspx, DispForm.aspx
To customize one of these forms, use SHP
Connect to your site using an admin account
Select from left side Lists and Libraries, then select your list
In the right side, you can see all of these 3 forms, and just in the upper corner a button "New". Select it
In the new window, name it ( the new form )
select which type of form do you want, and alos set as default
After you click OK , you will can see this new form with those 3 old forms
Now what you have to do is to select it, right click mouse and edit it
Enjoy the customizations!
