people tracking with kinect

Hi,
I hope this is the right forum, but I really had no clue where to post it elsewhere. Is it possible for a kinect without initialization (like standing somewhere with your hands in the air) to track multiple persons (2 or 3) that are infront of the kinect? Does anyone know if there is sample code that shows me how to do so?

The Kinect for Windows SDK is not released yet. The Skeleton Tracking in the SDK will handle one or two people and it will include a sample. I don't know what you mean about "without initialization", unless you mean waving at it like you have to do on the Xbox. The SDK does not require this.

The Kinect for Windows SDK Beta has been released by Microsoft Research. This has support for Skeleton Traking of one or two people and actually includes a sample Skeleton Viewer.
