PS 2010 - Configure new WFE in existing Project server

Question

Dear Guys,

I have multi application server farm. I have already configured one PWA instance on one server, now I want to configure new WFE on new server. How can I create and configure it by using the existing PWA instance?

You help is highly appreciated.

Shall I have to configure AAM in sharepoint? So I can access the PWA by using htt://server2/pwa/

Hi Mohsin,

First you need to prepare your new WFE server by installing SharePoint and Project binaries. Make sure to install SP and CU identical to your other servers in the farm

By executing SharePoint Configuration wizard connect new server to the farm

Using AAM in SharePoint add another URL for PWA site web application, If you can use FQDN instead of server NetBIOS name.

Will be helpful if you perform post provisioning testing
