Known Issues and Standing Waivers
Steve BellMSFTlunes, 24 de agosto de 2009 12:26Following are details for known issues and standing waivers. Known issues and standing waivers apply to all applications that are tested and no action is required of the developer.
1) Test Case 7.2 - Application Screen Shots
Windows Marketplace application screen shots are required in the sizes listed below. The Windows Marketplace screen shot file must maintain the aspect ratio and dimensions of the original screen shot capture. The screen shot capture will not be stretched or shrunk. It is permissible to have a white or black border that surrounds the application screen capture. However, it is to the developer's advantage to have a screen shot that is more visually appealing.

- SteveNotarized Document Update
Steve BellMSFTviernes, 14 de agosto de 2009 15:05We heard your feedback and beginning the week of August 10, 2009, developers who register as individuals for the Windows Marketplace do not need to provide notarized documents. This also applies to developers who registered prior to August 10, 2009.
A copy of official government issued photo identification, such as a Passport or driver's license is sufficient.
You can send the document to orderprocessing@geotrust.com or send a fax to the number referenced in the Geotrust email you received.
Thanks.

Hopper for Windows Mobile 6.5 is Available
Steve BellMSFTmartes, 28 de julio de 2009 22:42I am very pleased to announce that the Hopper test tool for Windows Mobile 6.5 is now available here. This version is also compatible with Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1.
Note that the correct Hopper version number is 2.0.24.4074 and this supercedes what is listed in the Application Submission Criteria. All Windows Marketplace applications are required to pass two hours of Hopper testing.
Developers are highly encouraged to test their applications in-house, with Hopper and Application Verifier, prior to submitting applications to the Windows Marketplace. It is also advised that developers understand the Windows Marketplace Application Submission criteria, available here, and are comfortable that their applications will pass testing prior to starting the application submission process.
Thanks.
