Hi to all,
here my problem:
The Windows Movile Device Center will not connect to my Device Emulator Image, when i cradle it in the Emulator Manager. The Emulator Manager says, its´cradled and ActiveSync in the Image itselfs says also all fine - except WMDC. So whats wrong with WMDC? And yes, DMA in the connection settings is enabled!
Here my dev setup:
- Windows 7 in a Windows Virtual PC Image with VS2008 and Windows Mobile SDK 6 Refresh
Any suggestions?
thanks in advance,
André

So the device emulator indicates that it is cradled, and has internet connectivity? You may try installing the latest version of WMDC.

Hi,
Reinstalled the WMDC (v.6.1.6965.0). But unfortunatly the same behavior :-(
The connectivy bullet (in the emulator) displays Actice Sync is connected. But in Pocket IE internet doesn´t work of connectivity loss.
WMDC doesn´t show any reaction.

Hi....
I am facing the same problem.
It was all working fine last week and suddenly it stopped.
I have tried reinstalling WMDC and emulator images too but nothing helped.
WMDC is not turning up when I cradle the device emulator.
Did u find any solution on that?
Thank sand regards,

viernes, 02 de septiembre de 2011 5:43Just in case anyone is struggling with this, I spent 4 hours of my life trying to get my emulator to connect. The emulator had been connecting to WMDC perfectly from the day it was set up.
It appeared like the emulator was connecting properly but WMDC would just say not connected. I finally came across a comment that pointed out the issue to me. REMOTE DESKTOP. One of the only things different this day was that I was working remotely. WMDC will not connect properly to your emulator if you are using a RDP connection.
Hope this helps someone.
