getting thrown out of canvas back into normal debugger

Question

I keep getting thrown out of canvas into the normal debugger.  I have not figured out what triggers this to happen.  I am running my debug session on a MS Unit Test and using the unit test "run debug" button instead of using F5.

If I put my break point in the method of the unit test to get the Dubug Canvas started.  I can jump to some deep level breakpoints but then I find myself in the normal debugger.

I have not figured out if IntelliTrace needs to be setup a specific way for Debug Canvas to function 100% or if this is related to my dubbugging experience.

Thanks for reporting the problem. We'll look into this problem! The IntelliTrace settings do not impact the regular debugger experience.

I've been experiencing this too.  It seems to happen on virtual methods.

OK. After closing the file with the breakpoint the method now opens in Debugger Canvas.
