Bing Date field for a result - what timezone?

I am querying the Bing News API, but the date times that are coming back are from the future.  The problem is that they don't seem to make sense.  I am in GMT-8, but some of the news story times are from beyond what current UTC is.  Is this a bug?

For example right now it is 4:10 PM Pacific Time.  That should be 11:10 PM UTC.  But a query from Bing News just returned that a story was from 11:27 PM today.

Hi Jason,

We are returning the UTC in the Date field, however I cannot repro the issue that Date in response is beyond current UTC.

Here is the query I am using.

Can you share your query?

My query was for Monday Night Football.  There was a Huffington Post article that was about 17 minutes in the future.  I tried it just now and didn't see any.  I will keep an eye on it and repost when I see it happen again.
