Hotkeys Issue

Question

Can anyone explain why hotkeys do not show up on VS.NET form buttons?

Buttons on my forms all have hotkeys during design mode but when the program is executing the button appears as
Print instead of Print (with the P underlined).
Underlined symbol will appear, when you press Alt button.
Is there any way to achieve this without pressing Alt key?

Welcome to MSDN forums!

To make Windows always show the underlined letters (so-called Accessing Key), you'll need to change a system setting (instructions below are for Windows XP):

• Open the Display Control Panel.
• Click on the Appearance tab, then Effects…
• Uncheck “Hide underlined letters for keyboard navigation until I press the Alt key”.
