hub-spoke configuration with SqlExpress 2008 and SqlServer 2008

Hi all,
I've investigated MS Sync framework in the last few days. It looks good, but the scenario I'd like implement doesn't seem to be natively supported. Here are the key reqs:
- MSSqlServer 2008 as server (central repository)
- SQLExpress2008 as client (hubs)
- no additional tables, triggers on the dbs to track changes -> I want to leverage the "Track changes" feature of SQLServer 2008 on both server and client...I don't want to re-invent the wheel
I see that there are samples to use "Track Changes" of SQL 2008, but they use SQLCE as client. All the samples with SQLExpress have a custom implementation to track changes (and are part of the "Collaboration" scenarios, not the "Offline" scenario which is what mine really is).
I know there were discussions very similar to this, but they are quite old.
I was wondering whether we can expect something from MS sometime soon. The scenario I exposed above should be quite common.
thanks in advance,
stefano
