Trouble Moving From Aug CTP to Oct CTP
I received an email about moving to the latest CTP location. When I accessed the new https://sql.azure.com link and attempted to access the pre-provisioned system an error occurred. Now when I log in I have no associated server information and receive the following error: The service is currently unable to retrieve your data. Please try again later.
Is the new production system down or did my account get messed up initially? Help!
Thanks,
Dan

- Following up on this - we are still trying to figure out what went wrong with Dan's account, but we have him up and running with a new SQL Azure account.

Just checked the portal service is up and there were no wide spread service issues. I'm guessing your account got wedged somehow.
Can you email me your LiveId (just your id, not anything else) and we'll take a look. Email me at patricmc AT microsoft DOT com.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Patric- Dan, we are investigating and will fix it once the cause is determined. I will keep you posted. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks.
--Zhongwe - Hi Zhongwe and Patric,
I am still getting the following error: The service is currently unable to retrieve your data. Please try again later.
Any progress on this issue?
Thanks,
Dan - The cause of the issue has been identified, and is fixed in a later build not yet deployed to the cluster. In the meantime we will try to manully fix your issue.
Thanks,
--Zhongwei - Dan,
We are in the process of trying to manually fix the issue. Assuming everything works out well, you should be good to go tomorrow.
Evan Dan, please try it again and let us know if the fix works for you or not. Again thanks for your patience.

- Hi Zhongwei,
It is not completely fixed yet. I did enter in my invitation code again and was brought to the server registration page. When I tried to enter my credentials and preferred location I received the following message:
"SQL Azure was unable to create a server for you. Please try again later."
Do I just need to wait for the service to become available or do you think this indicates that there is still a problem?
Dan - We are keeping investigating. Stay tuned.
- Now I have four SDS-Only CTP Projects and whichever one I select I receive the following error message:
"The service is currently unable to retrieve your data. Please try again later." - Any update on this? I still have the problem and am supposed to start testing an app with customers on Monday.
- Can you delete my account and setup a new one to take care of this rather than trying to manually correct?
- Following up on this - we are still trying to figure out what went wrong with Dan's account, but we have him up and running with a new SQL Azure account.
