Crash Text Adventure
- I thought i might try making an old text style adventure game that was small so we could understand it. So I got this one for a TRS-80 and ported it. It got much larger than I had hoped, the original code printed on two pages. It was a real job getting rid of line numbered code - ug.

I hoped also to make it easy to convert into any kind of adventure game, could be in any environment, enemies, doors, anythings possible. It really needs another pass making it better coded, and easily modifiable.

- check to see if me phones on, and by gas do you mean aircarft fule leaking that i can smell? or do you mean gas as in o2 that i can use for pain releaf?
if fule leaking then grab what i can and set a fuse and keep warm, 'help' will come till then i can eat the left over inflight meals.
- Haha. I didn't write it, I only ported it for your entertainment. That things an ancient artifact of 30 years!
Personally these kind of games annoyed me, but I think they could be very nice if written like a book, and not made rediculously complicated or have obscure solutions.
I thought somebody might have the bug and get into this, and write their own adventure. I'm redoing it with my son, he's writing a bunch of scenes. I"m hoping I can get him interested in doing the programming. I'll post it when it's done, I think the code will look alot better then. Might put it into the graphics window, would be much better looking and easier to read. You could fairly easily add pictures that you had drawn perhaps to show each scene.
