uploading data from Home Diagnostic(true result) blood glucose meter

Question

Take this scenario. A custodian has access to some child accounts. The custodian has set up his account on Health Vault connection Center and can upload data for the child accounts. To upload the data from Omron blood pressure meter, the custodian connect the blood pressure meter to his PC, starts Healthvault connection Center (HVCC), logsin with his own account. He gets 'Select user' option. He selects user A and then one of his child record. Now he clicks 'Upload now'. The data is uploaded and he can see it in the child record. He does the same with omron pedometer, which also allows him to select appropriate child account, before uploading the data.

But, when now the custodian connects the Home diagnostic Blood Glucose meter, it does not give him an option to select user. He clicks on Upload now button assuming that it will upload data in the same account which he selected for blood pressure or exercise, but no, the data goes into his own account, not the child account. 

How can he load data to the child account from his own HVCC login?

Or is there an easier option to switch user on HVCC. The option that I see is either remove current user, then login with the child account credentials which takes you through several permission screens OR use a different windows user. The first one is too complicated and second one is not an option for us as the various child accounts are not windows users on that computer.

Deepkaur--

In HVCC you should be able to navigate to the device by clicking it in the left panel.  Below the name/picture of the device you should see a button that says 'Change upload settings.'  Click this button, then a dialog pops up.  Within that dialog navigate to the 'HealthVault account' tab.  You can select the person's account you want the data uploaded to, or add someone if their name doesn't already appear in the list.

Another option is to choose an action from 'Upload Settings' screen.  Choosing action 'Let me confirm the record I want to use for upload', will always pop-up the upload settings dialog when the device is connected to PC and online.

The above setting can be changed from 'Change Upload Settings'.
