Publish the website & database

Question

Hi Guys,
I have developed a website in Asp with C# and database is Sqlserver 2005 Standard Edition When I am Uploading the web site to the host server its not working, so I just want know some major step of deployment of database and website.
My Current step
1) Publish web site to the file system
2) Change the server name in web config
3) Upload all stuff into wwwroot.

Database:-
1) the database which i create that is in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.2\MSSQL\Data\Database.mdf
2) what should be the location of database while Coding & deploying.


Please give me the step  by step (in short) Guide to the deployment of website & database becoz I am not sure weather I am current or wrong...... Please help me .......... waiting for reply
