Question

An error occurred while creating SharePoint site collection.

Please check if the App Pool user have SharePoint rights

i even set the app pool with admin rights and still no luck.

any other thoughts?

ok i updated and confirmed in sharepoint management the user and set the same user in app pool under IIS and not getting that error anymore.  however i am receiving a different error in reference to sharepoint not being compatible with version 4.0.30319.1.  any thoughts?
