Custom Events in Lifetime Graphs possible?

According to this question, WPA makes it possible to view custom events (ones that my own framework will generate) in a Generic Events graph. My question is, will it also be possible to show the custom events in a lifetime graph, similar to the processes? If so, how does WPA corrolate the start event to the stop event? If not, my I suggest this as a new feature? This will help me visualize long running tasks in my own framewoek even better.
