Tuesday, November 20, 2012 9:17 PMHi dansimp, this is for Win8 & 7 64-bit I guess? I cannot run it on windows XP, giving me some error that this is not a 32 bit application. Where can I find the old xperf or a 32-bit edition of wprui?
Friday, November 23, 2012 8:47 PMWPT installs the MSI file in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.0\Windows Performance Toolkit\Redistributables\" use the WPTx86-x86_en-us.msi and perform an admin install, copy the folder to XP and run it their to capture the trace.

I tried extracting this WPTx86-x86_en-us.msi, but when I tried to run xperf, it is saying not a valid win32 application even though it's the 32-bit version.
I confirmed it's the 32-bit version by running filever.exe xperf.exe and it returned the following (W32i means 32-bit)
--a-- W32i APP ENU 6.2.9200.16384 shp 369,608 07-25-2012 xperf.exe
