updates keep installing

Question

I am having the same problem updates are installed sucessfully, but want to install again in windows vista hp. I am new to forums. and I am an hardware expert, and of course I do think this could be a hardware issue.  If anyone knows an answer would be a very good thing for many people.  Again the  answer could be right in front of my face and I am duh missing it.
