Microsoft Office 7 - Outlook - Unable to Open

Question

My electricity went out for a short time yesterday and when it came back on, I could not open Outlook.  I get an error message that says to go Scanpst.exe to diagnose and repair but I can't figure out how to get to it.

Please Help!

Hi,

The Scanpst.exe is located in %PROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft Office\Office14\Scanpst.exe in Office 2010

Please note, that it's not related at all with Windows Performance Toolkit :)

This error you may get when your inbuilt tool scanpst.exe get corrupted or start malfunctioning. and to repair scanpst.exe you will have to use a powerful third party PST Repair Tool. this tool will fixed your scanpst.exe issues and also may fix outlook pst files problems.
