Perfomance Monitoring in Detail

Hello Techies,

I have a question here regarding the performance monitor on windows 2008 r2. I wanted to read about all the possible counters and their thresholds, is there a website by Microsoft or any other tech company who provides the details about each and every counter in detail and how they work.

I would love to see if there are any videos available for this as well. I have tried the TrainSignal, but they have a very standard video on performance monitoring, which doesn't tell you all the counters available in detail.
