XmlPad doesn t work

Question

Hi Falks,

I know tere is a lot of people who encounter the same probleme : 

was able to successfully install the WinFX November CTP on one machine.

However, on a VPC and on another machine it doesn't work. The XamlPad

Won’t even come up, I'm getting the above error in my WinFX Windows Apps : “Error at element 'StaticExtension' in markup file '' : Binary format of the specified custom attribute was invalid..” however I was able to successfully run WinFx web application

 

I'm running the following setup:
Windows Server 2003 with sp1
Visual Studio 2005 Pro: Ver 8.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200)
MS .Net Framework Ver 2.0.50727
WinFX Runtime Components 3.0 - Beta 2 (2.0.50727.134)
Windows SDK (Nov CTP) (5262.0)
Visual Studio Extensions for WinFX: Version 8.0.6
I also have Visual Studio Enterprise Architect 2003 installed, along with the 1.1 framework.

the only thing i won t to know because is it a known issue??

Younes, have you tried this on the December CTP build as well?

I had the same problem with Dec CTP. The Jan CTP fixed it.
