FAQ: Preview a Word document

Question

The question is often asked, how can a Word document or parts of a Word document be previewed in a custom task pane or in a Windows form.

Very interesting, and I'm sure the knowledge will prove of great utility for me in the future. I've been meaning to get to grips with OpenXML anyway.

Thanks, this is good to know.  Just a note though that the OpenXML forum itself is not well tended (I have tried).  One is better off posting questions to stackoverflow.com.
