Answered Error while installing the Outlook add in in windows 7 64bit

    Hi

    I got another problem from my client. Below is error message they send to me.

    This  popup window will show when the installer is almost complete and the installer will role back. This error is occuring in windows 7 64bit. XP and other windows os have no problem. He's running Outlook 2010 32 bit version trying to install the 32bit version of OPI, on a 64bit Windows 7 computer

    Hi Bobbin,

    Does the msi package include a custom action?

    If it does, could you please post it here?

    Could you please ask the client to run the following command to gather the install log?

    To create the install log, following the steps below.
    First, open cmd.exe
    Second, type msiexec /i <msi path> /LIME <log path>
    For example, msiexec /i “D:\setup.msi” /LIME “D:\setup.log”

    After get the log, please post it here. Thanks.

    Hi Bob

    I fixed the problem. There is already one folder with same name of my project in the program files. i think is not deleted while uninstalled. I just rename that folder and reinstall my new setup and its worked !!!!!.
