Hi , I am working on a requirement were we have to release the product in MSI format . The product was actually build in Installscript MSI project. Now I have made some changes in the same project in release wizard and also created new MSI project . But when I am installing the old product using Setup.exe and latest one directly through the command line using proper argument through msiexec . I can see that installation is started from resuming wizard but it is not able to change few binaries and also in add and remove the version is not upgraded. If I am trying to uninstall the product from there it is not allowing to uninstall the product.

Hi Piyush349,
What do you mean by Installscript MSI project?
It seems that you are using installshield.
If so, I suggest you create a new thread in the InstallShield Forum.
If not, could you please give us more details of the issue?
Could you please post the command you used here?
What do you mean by resuming wizard, could you please give a screenshot?
What’s more, what do you mean by it not allowing to uninstall the product? Is there any error message or message?
Best Regards,Bob Wu [MSFT]
