Windows Pe installation help

Question

I have 1 hard disk with two partition c:is primary where the windows is
there and d:is another one.I cannot understand how to configure my pc to use 
PE environment from d drive.please provide the detailed simple stepby step
guidance.already copied wimfile to the root of d drive.
