Image interaction

I want to display an image in a windows form control (PictureBox ?), probably from a TIF file, then superimpose onto it translucent green rectangles at certain co-ordinates, then detect when a user clicks on one of those rectangles.
What do I need to use?
(If it's relevant, I program in C#).
Many thanks.
Richard

Thank you.
Would you know how to find the location of an image within a PictureBox if the display parameter for that image has been set to Zoom?
