Icons on Toolstrip

Question

Hi Everyone,

I'm working on a project with a ToolStrip.

For the Buttons on the ToolStrip, is that possible to import *.ico Files ?

Even if I changed the Filter to All Files (*.*), it's also cannot import.

It popup a message box, says :

Import Failed

'C:\...\Icons\New_16.ico' is not a valid resource type.

Actually, is that possible to import icon files ?

If possible, please reply.

Hi AndyLun2009,

According to my knowledge, we can import icon files in the select Resource.

Here is a sample with icon files imported, please download it and check if it works on your side.

What’s the version of the Visual Studio, Operation system? Could you please share us your project and icon file to help  us reproduce this issue?

Never mind, I solved the problem.

We can import Icons but not True Colour Icons.
