Sample App For BPM in Workflow

Hey Guys,

I am new to Windows Workflow foundation , i have been told to make business process management workflow which can be integrate with other app also and  which work as stand alone too. i don't know much about windows workflow can anyone suggest me something simple first ? I wanna make simple business process management system in workflow , how can i achieve that ? any simple example on that ?

i have heard that BizTalk provides some inbuilt functionality for BPM system ? is it so ? i don't know it suggest me some best way to implement BPM system.
