Hi all, mi doubt is about performance requirements for metro apps. I have a guideline and also the certification validation tool provided by VS 2012 installation. I need to know if a PASS in the tool report means that my apps is compliant with ALL the performance specification for Metro Store.

    Thanks :)

    Hi PabloCargnelutti,

The Following link outlines the Certification requirements for Windows 8 Apps. Once your application meets these requirements, it should pass certification.

    Thanks

    Hello PabloCargnelutti,

Have You looked at the Performance Test page? The specific details of the performance test are listed on the page. The certification kit will gauge whether or not you will pass certification for the Store. I hope this helps.

    Thanks,

Thanks Jesse_F, so based on that page running the tool will cover the basic Performance requirements

"As low-power computers evolve, their performance characteristics might change over time. Test your app with the most current version of the Windows App Certification Kit to make sure that your app meets the latest performance requirements."

    I'am right?

    Hi Pablo,

You are correct, as long as you are using the most current version of the kit, you should be fine submitting your app. If you have an ARM device, you can test it on that machine for your low power requirements.

    Thanks,

    Jesse
