Vista Game Explorer Path problem, final dash is being deleted

Our game is now installing in the Games Explorer, but it wont run because the path is always set as

[gamepath][exefile] but the final dash is missing so the result i.e. is:

C:\program files\mygamedirMygamename.exe

and of couse there is no file called mygamedirMyGame.exe it should be

C:\program files\mygamedir\Mygamename.exe

The dash is always being truncated in vista, is working fine in windows 7 though.
