Disable Simple File Sharing

I apologize if this is not the correct forum for this question (I couldn't see a Win XP forum).

 

1. I was wondering if it is possible to disable Simple File Sharing programmatically on the local machine.  Possibly through WMI?  If anyone has any sample code in VB.Net or C# that would be fantastic.
2. Would this apply to Vista? Does vista have a Simple File Sharing mode?

PS.  In case you are wondering what I am refering too... this is the setting accessible by opening up My Computer / Tools / Folder Options / View.  It is the very last setting "Use simple file sharing (recommended)".
