Unanswered System environment PATH deletes if the character limit is more then 1024

    Hi ,

    I am facing the issue where system Enviroment PATH deletes if the character limit is more then 1024.

    i installed the below mentioned microsoft  hotfix which has a fix to increase the character limit to 2048 charcters in windows 2003 sp1 machine and installed one component and in PATH everything is getting deleted, only wat ever i have installed now is remaining in PATH Variable..

    I also tried windows 2003 sp2 machine.. same problem persist..

    Can some one help me out?
