In all tutorials and articles discussing charm integration, the topic is Metro apps. I've seen mention that a few charms can be used for desktop apps, but no further coverage. Where can I find more information on integrating charms into desktop apps?
Thanks

I read the panes classes from MSDN, but what I found is that all of them are said "Metro style apps only".
Which charm you read form which doc said that it can be integrated with Desktop app, can you point it to us?

The Search and Settings charms are the only ones I heard were desktop-applicable. I don't have anything from official venues; here are the first ones I found from searching today:

Are you saying all the charms are Metro only?

Correct: charm contracts are not available from desktop apps.
The user can access the charms from the desktop. The search charm will go to the Apps view. The settings charm will show system settings.
