Is there any Noise reducing filter for audio?

Does directshow contains any builtin filters for reducing noise in the audio which can be applied over PCM data?

Are there any open source filters available for this purpose?

As far as I know, the FFDshow project (http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/) contains an audio denoise filter. It's called the „TaudioFilterDenoise”.
