"Something Happened" Error while checking PC

Question

I'm trying to run the 64bit setup (tried 2 different downloaded versions) and whenever it gets to the Checking compatibility phase I get the error...

"Something Happened"

Sorry, we're having trouble determining if your PC can run Windows developer Preview. Please close setup and try again.

 

Anyone got any ideas?

Hey there,

How are you installing the Windows Developer Preview? Booting from a burnt DVD? Btw, what is your hardware configuration? Motherboard model?
