i have a problem withe card vga driver

help me!!!!!!

when i setup driver for GeForce 8400 then my display is black. i can't use anything

What version 32-bit or 64-bit?

Where did you get the driver from and how did you install it?

Was the default Driver working fine and giving you a decent resolution?

Oh, if you are in a no-boot, boot from media, enter repair and use System Restore to back out.

I had the same problem, it is the drivers - you need a newer version. I am running on the NVidia beta drivers now. Details http://www.sadev.co.za/content/windows-8-how-get-it-working

As an FYI about your section on MSE, there's no need to install it. In
Windows 8, MSE and Defender have been "merged" and "renamed" to Windows
Defender and it is installed by default. Just type defender on the Start
page, then click Settings on the right.

Thanks for the heads up - I saw that mentioned in the keynote but when I didn't see icons for it, I assumed it wasn't installed in the preview. Will update post & credit you :)
