How do I remove a UNC path from Windows Search Options -> Modify -> Indexed Locations?

    The path no longer exists.

After adding a UNC path in Windows Search, you will see it under "indexed Locations" and you are able to remove it by choosing "change" and de-selecting it.

De-selecting the indexed location was the answer I was expecting to see.

But it isn't the correct answer.

You see, there is no real way to remove the path from the list of indexed locations OTHER than to restore the defaults and rebuild the index.

A needlessly redundant and expensive operation for such a simple function. HDDs just don't get the respect they deserve.

How about adding a remove button below the add button under the UNC paths tab?
