CardSpace Crashes on Close

Question

Greetings,

When I open CardSpace in the Control Panel, and then immediately close it, I get the following error:

Windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

I then click "Close program", which is the only button available.

CardSpace always crashes when I close it, and I don't know why. There is an error in my event log (below), but it doesn't explain much.
