    Dear Azure Guru's,

I wonder if you could help me to move virtual machine from old subcription (russotrans2012@yandex.ru) to another (vzateychuk@tcompas.ru).

The problem that I created virtual machine by using wrong subscription (russotrans2012@yandex.ru).

And now I see that this virtual machine has been disapear from my correct subscription without any notice.

But it's very bad, because I spent about 2 weeks to configure this virtual machine and install paid software.

Now I can't see any virtual machine in my current subscription neither I don't see any at old subcription (russotrans2012@yandex.ru).

Appreciate any ideas how to find and restore lost virtual machine.

    Sincerely, Vladimir Zateychuk

    Hi,

I belive your VMs still exist in your blob storage. Just connect to your blob storage and see if you can find your VHDs. they should be there.

For migration the VHDs from one subscription to other subscription, you can use and storage explorer. You need to copy the VHDs to local and upload it back to new subscription storage.

You can write even code to move directly from storage to storage. There is a nice blog on the same.

    Hope it helps

    Hi Vladimir.

Your drives still exist inside your blob storage, so what you need to do is get the VHD that should be inside the a container called VHD in your storage account and just copy it to the new storage account and you're done.

    Hope this helps.
