Windows Azure Tools for Microsoft Visual Studio CTP. Unable to connect to dfservice

Question

When running the caching service example.. I am getting this error..

I tried everything that is mentioned in this post  http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsazure/thread/78024e06-ced6-47b6-ac51-b3f186f4efb1 but in vein

What is the issue here?

Hi Badal,

Azure fabric cache doesn't utilize development fabric(dfservice.exe), instead, it connect to real cloud directly. Threrefore, the problem you encounter may not related to appfabric cache.  I suggest you create new cloud app and run on devfabric, it may help you to isolate the issue.
