We would like to host 1 .net and 1 php  application  using 1 database, what should the Subscription we will use.

Do we pay for additional cost if we pay for PHP application or they are just combined together with dot net.

If we get a 6 months subscription, can we add two type of hosting .net and php and just combine them together
    with the consumption.

    PS.

We are still on the Development stage as we are trying to use Windows Azure with our Software

    Thanks,

You can go for "Pay per Use" to Quantify your needs then you can decide for 6 months plan or other plans that suits your need. And by quantifying the need i mean: What size of Database?  Do you need a 50 GB DB or 100 GB DB. That's one of the question that you can try and find the answer. Then you may also know want to know what should be the size of your Azure Web/Worker role. Also Number of instances of web/worker role. And questions like this..

And after you have quantified your need, this should be of help: https://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/pricing/calculator/

can we add two type of hosting .net and php and just combine them together
    with the consumption.

Under a single subscription, you can create more than one roles. So one role could have .net app. And the other role could have php. you do not need different subscription for .net and php.

And Yes, since it's Azure (cloud) - you can scale up or down based on your need. So you can start small and then grow based on your need..

Yes, you can have just one subscription for both. A subscription is like a "phone plan" - it comes a rate for each type of service (e.g. you pay $0.02 / minute for day minutes, and $0.01 / minute for night minutes) and with some included amounts (e.g. you get 500 day minutes per month, and 2000 night minutes). Azure subscriptions work the same way, but for Azure resources. What resources you choose to use against a subscription is entirely up to you!
