Can we deploy/host SharePoint Application on Windows Azure

Question

1. How can I deploy/host SharePoint site on windows azure platform?

    I have created a SharePoint portal with web parts and other customization.

    Can I deploy it into windows azure?

I am afraid that, respective Sharepoint runtime infrastructure may not be available on Azure role instances. So you  may consider Sharepoint Online which is part of Microsoft's BPOS offering(http://www.microsoft.com/business/bpostestdrive/default.aspx). Or you can leverage web part controls available with ASP.NET 2.0 onwards in the ASP.NET web role.

As Rajesh stated, there's no way to host SharePoint in Azure today. You can definitely integrate SharePoint with Azure by way of services hosted in Azure, so there's ample opportunity to take advantage of Azure's service scalability and elasticity.
