    Hi!

If I understood this right, all the services - and so the data - will be hosted by Microsoft. That's not a problem for me, but if I know free software community, they will look to this as a terrible thing.

So, present Windows Azura for the community don't seems to me something easy to do.

First I would ask : Other companies could host their own windows Azura services, allowing publication in their servers, instead Microsoft ?

Second question : Specially if not, what are the marketing planing for the people that don't like Microsoft and will create conspiration teorys because the format of Windows Azura ?

    Thanks !

    Hi Dennes!

This forum is specifically for questions about registration and account creation.

I would suggest you ask this question on the Windows Azure forum. If you can't get a reply there, feel free to post back here and we'll try to track down an answer(er) for you.

    Hi Dennes,

Your understanding is correct in that with the CTP release of Windows Azure, the services running on Windows Azure and data stored in Windows Azure Storage will be hosted in Microsoft data centers.

    thanks,
    Tushar

     Hi !

Thank you all for the help, I just get the answer at one of the Azure sessions.

All the services that make Azure work will be shipped with Microsoft Servers, like for example Microsoft Application Server. So, any company that would like to create their own cloud would have this possibility.

    Thanks!

    Dennes,

With the CTP release, services deployed to Windows Azure run on Microsoft datacenters only.
